Security and safety

Rhodes is a calm Greek island, allowing you to walk around its streets without fear even in the evening, however, it is always worth observing basic safety rules:
It is preferable to store large sums of money and essential documents in the hotel safe (some hotels do not have a safe in the room, but a central safe room).
In crowded places, be alert.
